چکیده

Infantile paralysis, or anterior poliomyelitis, furnishes a large proportion of the patients in the Bath, Somerset and Wilts Orthopaedic Scheme, and the problems of treatment in cases where the lower limb is affected are both difficult and interesting. Examination of the patient.?Before discussing the details of treatment it is necessary to say one word about diagnosis, for it is on an exact estimate of the relative loss of balance of the different parts of the limb that effective treatment is based.
